Mom and Me Beginning and Intermediate Sewing Class with RuthAnn Kuebler

This class is for everyone!! Adults and children age 10 and up. Do you want to learn to sew or advance your skills? In this class you will make a pillowcase with totally enclosed seams and a small tech bag to hold charging cords or whatever you want to use it for. The enclosed seam on the pillowcase is a technique that is used in many applications. I used it to place a band on the bottom of a pair of curtains. We will discuss the 3 parts of your fabric. 

Beginning Sewing

Dust off that machine and begin sewing for fun and function!  In this quick introduction to sewing class, learn how to successfully use your sewing machine.

Sewing 101 focuses on the basic skills, terminology, and techniques of sewing.  From threading the machine to sewing a straight stitch, to producing a sewn table runner to display or use in your home, you will learn how to sew in a relaxed atmosphere.

Embroidery Club with Melanie Coakley

If you have ever wanted to learn about embroidery, then this is the Club for you! It meets once a month and is a lecture demo class. Some classes will be project classes with kits available for a small fee.

Fashion with a Flair Ruffled T-Shirt

Are you tired of that plain old t-shirt?  Take it, place ruffles down the front in a special design, and have a completely new feminine look. You will use a scoop or v-neck, cap sleeve, fitted style cotton t-shirt, and add ruffles to the front with lightweight cotton fabric.  Plain cotton fabric strips will be used to make ruffles that will cover the complete front of the t-shirt.  The ruffles can be print fabrics or a color to match your t-shirt.

Quilt as You Go

Quilt as you go is a fast and easy way to quilt larger bed-size quilts in smaller sections, joining them after quilting, with no handwork. There are several options for this technique and all will be explained, and demonstrated in the lecture demo. A trunk show of finished quilts are included in this seminar style class.
